At first, we wanted to bank in the money to the travel agency for our travel package and hotel reservation of Nikko Bali, but I got an SMS from Lovely Mummy that we may get a discount. Wow! That sounds good! Even if a discount of 20% will make a big difference of a few hundred ringgits, so who won’t be glad about this?

The package that I chose covered as much as 70% of Bali’s famous tourist spots and we have to visit all of them in 2 days. It may sound a bit packed but we are only there for 4 days, so we can’t expect to have a relaxing trip as comparing for 5 days and above. But never mind, we can always go there again and again. Bali is not as expensive as other trips I have in mind.

Anyway, it’s a bonus to know that we can save up for the trip. The money can go for my shopping spree.

We have finally made up our minds on where to stay in Bali. Hubby and I agreed on joining one of the tour program, and we will be staying at Nikko Bali. Previously, I told hubby to take the family package, but he didn’t agree. He said our kids are too young to join the kids program, so it will be a waste of money.

Since we are joining a tour, we have 2 of the 4 days trip planned, and we still have some time for free and easy. By staying at Nikko, the kids can have fun at the lagoon, and having some camel ride by the beach too. There is a jungle camp, but I will have to find out if it is suitable for younger children.

And this is what I have been waiting for……..an outdoor spa! Hubby agreed on watching the kids for me so that I can have some time for myself. Wow! I just can’t wait for this!

I must be one of those crazy blogger who wants to have all the niche blogs in the world. LOL! This is my travel blog which I purposely set up before my trip to Bali. I hope that I will be able to blog a lot about the nice places, food, and people in Bali, so I quickly got a domain before the trip next month.

At the same time, I transfered some of the travel related posts from My Filling Station to this blog. I love those links, and I want them to be placed here for my reference. But if I get some offers about travel in that blog, they will still be posted there for the time being, while I’m trying to work on the traffic of this blog.

But before the trip to Bali, I will try to blog about some interesting places I’ve been, or planned of going. It’s nice to have a blog where I can daydream that I’m on vacation everyday!

I want a nice blog to update about my trip to Bali. I still have a lot of shopping to be done for the trip, and the shopping list is quite long. Thus, I have to plan my budget well so that I won’t overspend and blew my cards!I think I need a pair of sunglasses for the trip because my old sunglasses may be outdated. But I will not buy expensive designer sunglasses due to budget constrain. If only there are more people selling them here because most of the replicas that I found are not as near to the originals. There should be a great market for replica sunglasses, but funnily, it’s not so common here. Maybe I should get them and sell by myself huh? It’s a money making business anyway!

I’m setting up a new travel blog and will be moving all the travel related posts from this blog to this domain. The main reason of setting up a new domain is I would prefer to have niche blog. This blog has a little of everything, and I would like to consolidate the posts and make it a food and cooking blog only, if possible.

Since I love to travel, I may as well set up a blog on it. My next vacation spot will be Bali, and hopefully I have a lot of good things to be blogged about it. Too bad I have bought the tickets month ago, if not I will consider getting one of those airline credit cards and get some points collected with the tickets purchase. Don’t underestimate these cards as my FIL has got the rewards points of 2 return tickets to US, if he is going to redeem the points!

So, after I set up the travel blog, I will check out more info about how to get more from these airline credit cards.

We used hubby’s truck most of the time, whenever we are traveling around locally. I prefer to use our own car so that I can strap the kids in car seats and they just can’t move about like monkeys and I will lose my mind asking them to sit down.

Sometimes, I wonder how the kids in western countries can be so obedient. Maybe car seats are not commonly used by all the road users, and there is no enforcement. But I don’t think this can be done. Not yet. Just look at how many people squeezing in a Kancil on the road?

Of course, please make sure the car is in tip toe condition when you are traveling in it.

This should be summer holiday in most countries by now. So, there must be a lot of kids who are eager to visit Disney World Florida in Orlando.

There are Discount Disney Tickets which offers family packages a tour to Disney Florida, and I think every family will definitely enjoy the trip. Just imagine having fun at the theme parks and watching the wonderful parade or spectacular firework with Mickey, which kid on earth does not wish for this?

If you are looking for a great place to spend your summer break, choose Disney. If only I am staying in Orlando, I will surely bring my kids there. But too bad, we are so far away from the US. So, I guess Disney Hong Kong is still the first choice. Not to mention, the trip will be cheaper too.

My yoga instructor is organizing a trip to India by the end of the year. She doesn’t want to join the travel agency since there will be a few days of trip when we will be practicing yoga from a guru in India. Thus, she is planning the trip by herself, and we are helping her out in looking for cheap Indian hotels online.

There are lots of hotels available from Inasra.com. I can easily find the list of hotels available because they can be sort by places in India, the date we will be arriving and leaving. There are 35000 hotels in the database, and the results given was great. I can also sort the hotel selection by 1 to 5 stars, but we will only got for those with 3 stars and above.

Since I am very addicted to blogging, one of the amenities that I am very particular about is internet connection. I have to stay in hotels that provide such services only. At the same time, you can also find the hotels based on the choices of cruises available. Some of my friends who are going cannot take spicy Indian food, but this site can let me sort out those hotels that serves Chinese and Japanese cuisines as well. It’s really convenient for us as we don’t have to worry about food when we are there.
I’m not sure which part of India that we are going yet, but I will certainly use this site to look for the accommodation of the trip. It’s simply great!

My friends had just asked me if our trip to Australia is confirmed. For the time being, I can’t give them a definite answer because it is depending on hubby’s schedule. He is always unsure about his work which may come in without further notice. So, if we book the flight now, I’m afraid we may cancel the tickets if he has something going on.

Anyway, it will be a free and easy trip, so what we need is just the flight tickets. As for the places to be visited, we can decide them later. It’s not easy to get a car rental to get around, but I’m not sure if they will always be available.

Besides, we may just stay at hubby’s uncle’s place. So, accommodation should not be a problem. This trip can be carried out as long as the tickets and visas are ready.

I was a big fan of Meteor Rain, the famous Taiwanese series years ago. For the second season, part of the series were shot in Spain, and I felt in love with it almost instantly. I haven’t been to Spain, but I hope that one day I will Spain.

If I have the money, I don’t mind leaving for Spain now as the hotels are available almost anytime! But too bad, I can’t afford the room rate now, even if it’s only 2-star. But never mind, let me work on this, ok?
