Chatuchak Market, Bangkok

We went to Chatuchak market on Sunday. It only opens during the weekend, so I didn’t want to miss it. If you like to get some cheap Thai handicrafts, clothes, or trying out typical Thai hawker food, this is the weekend market you should visit.

Chatuchak from the pedestrian bridge

It’s a big market, so you might want to wear comfortable shoes for walking. I was walking in high heels and I tell you, my feet hurt by the end of the day. :P We will come here again to look for some decorations, man made fountain and fiberglass columns for the house later when we relocate to Bangkok. If you have specific things in mind to get, it’s good to check out the map first before getting lost in the big market.

The map

Some Thai handicraft, and I bought something for my kids.

These lightings will be nice in my new home!

Cheap cheap clothes, but I didn’t get any :P

It’s ashamed that hubby and I were too full to try out the food. We went there after a lunch so it’s impossible to stuff anything in when we reached there. But I guess we will go there for the food next time when my kids are here with us.

See those cute bird eggs?

The coconut ice-cream is nice

Nothing for my boy’s size!

Have a seat and take a drink.

BTW, there are some street performances here but I found 2 freaking ones that I just want to share. LOL!

Come and kiss me. LOL!

This one is so willing to impress.

Of course, we spent the whole afternoon walking and the last thing we did was to get a nice foot massage.

So, what are you waiting for? Come to Bangkok!

Now we dont have to go to Thailand and still get to shop for Thai clothes and get Thai foot massages, eat Thai food like their speciality: mango rice and coconut ice cream.

They are all ove Ipoh already. You can find them in Ipoh Parade, Greentown Mall and Tesco too!
