FIL is scheduled to fly back this Friday, but I doubt that he can fly back from Bangkok. He’s reluctant to go to Chiangmai for his flight, so maybe he will use the train to go back to Malaysia. Can you imagine traveling in a train for more than 12 hours? Gosh, that’s tough, especially to an old man like him. If it’s not due to something important back home, I would advise him not to travel back. But he has an important wedding to attend, and he already got his tuxedo ready for it. LOL!
Another way of going back is using the bus, from Bangkok to Hat Yai and then use a taxi to Malaysia border and get a bus back to Ipoh. Again. It’s a long journey.
