 I’ve just booked our flight tickets to Phuket, and now I have to look for a place to stay for 2 nights. Ramada Resort sounds really nice, and it’s located in Karon beach, which is not as populated as in Patong. I’m still waiting for their reply about our room, and see if the rate is worth it.

As for Marriott Vacation Club, the person in-charged didn’t get back to me about the rates for 2 nights, so I guess she’s not really want to do my biz. LOL! I would save up some money staying elsewhere too as Marriott is really costly during peak season. The money can be used to get my kids their new swing sets!

 Our plan to Marriott’s Mai Khao Beach Home has been canceled as hubby doesn’t have to spend 4 days away. Gee…I really want to check out this place but then again, there are a lot of nice resorts in Phuket, so I can always book another one. Maybe I shall check out Sawadee Resort as it’s a pretty boutique hotel, with unique knobs, room decoration and it’s quite remote.

I’m going to spend some time looking for the best deals for both resort and flight tickets, so that’s my vacation assignment this year. We will only be there for 3 days, and that’s the max hubby can make it!

Besides that, we supposed to go camping tomorrow, but it’s canceled again. It’s been raining for the past few days, especially at night, so camping at the national park might not be a good idea. Thus, we shall be going to Pattaya again, but just on a day trip. Gee…my kids are pretty disappointed again, and they have been looking forward for their first camping trip.

Anyway, we are going for a trip to the beach tomorrow, so it’s better than none.

A blogger friend recommended us to stay for free at Marriott’s Mai Khao Beach Home in Phuket, and I am so grateful for it! Of course, it’s not just a free trip, as it’s part of the marketing plan to get you to sign up for the holiday club. Anyway, we shall go there for a look as I’ve heard that it’s a nice place for holiday, and the kids club is great.

A friend of mine who had been there said the apartments are very nice and it’s indeed a nice vacation place for the whole family. Upon hearing that, I’m quite excited and looking forward to spend a few days there.

Hopefully, we can make it in November as October is reserved for Halloween invitations, and before then, our kids are pretty tied up at school.
