Travel To Arctic Circle, Finland
We have a friend in Finland and he’s been there for more than 5 years, if I’m not mistaken. Before we have kids, hubby and I joked that we would fly over to Finland to visit him, but he said it’s not a good idea to go to Finland as there’s nothing much to visit. Furthermore, the flight ticket to Finland is quite costly.
Nonetheless, I hope that one day we will bring the kids to Finland as it’s popular for its Santa’s Village in Lapland, the homeland of Santa Claus, at the Arctic Circle. The Santa Park is located about 500 miles north of Helsinki, outside the town of Rovaniemi which is also the unofficial capital of Finnish Lapland. The Santa Park is housed in a huge man-made cavern in Syvasenvaara Fell. Besides that, there’s a post office here in Santa’s Village and you can really write to Santa Clause! Of course, there are elves working for Santa at the park as well, so you can even check out the elf school. So, don’t you think kids will love this place?
As for hubby, he loves skiing. I think he will enjoy himself skiing in Ruka and Kuusamo. If my kids are old enough, they can learn how to ski and enjoy themselves at Rosa and Rudolf Route. This place is located at the Arctic Circle too, so if we plan the trip well, we can enjoy everything bit of Arctic Circle. Of course, we shouldn’t miss the Northern Lights in the winter. It would be a wonderful trip for all of us if we go there one day.
So, my friend better gets his espresso machines ready and heated up for me if I visit him in Finland. I wonder why he takes so much espresso in a day, and I am eager to taste the coffee.
