It might seem too early to pack for our trip home, but I have to “prepare” my kids well. We are taking the early flight, so my kids need to get up very early in the morning so that we don’t miss our flight. We missed a flight once when we went to Kuching, and it’s not a pretty sight!!! LOL!
I got the express boarding from AirAsia so that we don’t have to fight the crowd on boarding. It’s my first time flying alone with 2 kids, so I really want to make sure that we are boarding well instead of being pushed around.
Unless you get the express boarding or you have social security disability, if you have ever fly with AirAsia, you might know that not everyone will queue up!
Anyway, there is still time to plan and pack. Talking about packing, I need to get my kids their trolley bags. Both of them are very eager to pack their own books and toys. LOL!

I’ve just booked our flight tickets to Phuket, and now I have to look for a place to stay for 2 nights. Ramada Resort sounds really nice, and it’s located in Karon beach, which is not as populated as in Patong. I’m still waiting for their reply about our room, and see if the rate is worth it.
As for Marriott Vacation Club, the person in-charged didn’t get back to me about the rates for 2 nights, so I guess she’s not really want to do my biz. LOL! I would save up some money staying elsewhere too as Marriott is really costly during peak season. The money can be used to get my kids their new swing sets!

If you have any plan to fly with AirAsia some time from 1 Apr to 31 Jul 2009, please book soon within 26 – 31 Aug 2008 as Air Asia is giving away free seats again! It’s always more affordable to fly with Air Asia, if you can take the nonsense at queuing to aboard as the express passes are scarce, and if you can survive with simple meals.
I don’t really mind about those, as long as I can fly to my destination safely and at cheaper rate, who cares? LOL! I would rather save my money up for shopping or changing my shower faucets to designer brands. LOL! Just kidding la…
Anyway, don’t miss the free seats giveaway!

There are things which I like about AirAsia, especially the cheaper air fare promotions which are surprisingly cheap and affordable so that everybody can fly. But I hate the free seating and no queue way of going on board. You can easily see lots of kiasu passengers queuing up even if it’s more than 30 minutes before the flight. But what to do? Everyone is hoping to get good seats, and the early bird always gets the worm.
I really hate it when they don’t give any priority to senior citizens and parents with young children. Just imagine how limited the expresses boarding passes are and we have to rush abroad with kids in our arms and some hand carry luggages too. Maybe so far nothing bad has happened and no one demands life insurance or compensation from them? That’s why it’s still best to fly with other airlines that provide a better service.
But still, no one can fight the lower price of AirAsia. So unless I’m rich enough to fly first class all the time, I better keep quiet and squeeze myself on board with my gal in my arms and at least 2 bags on my shoulders.

I’ve just found out that MAS is running a promotion of zero air fare too, so I checked out the price of the flight tickets which are available from 1st July to 31 December between KLIA and Bangkok International Airport. It seems like the tickets are so much cheaper now, but still, it’s more affordable to fly with AirAsia. We don’t really eat on the plane, so I don’t mind flying with AirAsia.
However, the low fare tickets are only available among Asean countries. If you are flying to Outer Banks, you can’t get them at such low price with MAS. So, if you don’t want to miss this great deal, don’t forget to book for your flight tickets between 21st May to 3rd June. That’s the booking period!
Too bad I’m not sure when will I be back, if not I might just book the tickets from Bangkok.

We are flying back to Bangkok before the mid of June, but we haven’t bought the tickets yet. I found that AiaAsia has a low fare promotion again, but only to those who fly from 10 Jun 2008 to 30 Nov 2008. The air fare is only as low as RM5, so it’s worth traveling around that time. I think some of my friends will surely come and pay me a visit since they are so eager to shop for more clothes and Pedestal sinks in Bangkok! LOL!
Too bad we can’t get any low fare tickets next month, if not we would save up a lot on flight tickets. Anyway, we will be flying more often, so maybe next time.

I’ve just bought our flight tickets to Bangkok this month from AirAsia. Surprisingly, the tickets only cost RM22 each, but after adding up with taxes and fees, it came up to RM700++ in total! I wonder why the extra fees are so expensive! Of course, I saved up a lot comparing to purchasing the flight tickets from MAS. But since we are frequent travelers to Bangkok, it’s best to get the cheapest tickets I can find. Besides that, it’s only a short distance between Penang or KL to Bangkok, I don’t need to extra comfortable on my flight.
We will only be there for 2 weeks, and it’s more like a business trip. Besides that, I have to move some stuffs over again, and this time, it’s more like packing up for my kids. They have so many toys, personalized baby clothes for their cousins there and lots of books! I wonder if we will exceed the 30kg load again?

I am going to Bangkok again next month and what do you know, Air Asia is giving out free tickets to Bangkok from 26th February to 15th March 2008!!! We just have to pay for some admin fee and airport tax so we really saved up a lot on this trip. I think it’s best to subsribe to the promotional updates from the airline since we will be traveling more often this year. No point wasting so much money on flight as I’m not working as a plasma cutter engineer anymore. LOL!
We were tempted to bring the kids along, but after some thought, it’s best to go by ourselves. It’s not a holiday but we have things to be settled in Bangkok for the coming trip. What a waste huh? The tickets are free!

When it comes to long distance flight, my only concern is I can’t sleep well. I cannot afford to get myself a business class or first class flight tickets yet, even if I’m dying to experience flying like a queen. LOL! When I saw how luxurious the Airbus A380 of Singapore Airlines is, I hope that one day I will have the money to try out how it feels like flying like that!

Business Class

First Class
So, will have I have chance to be on A380 when I’m going to Australia next year? I can do so if I swipe all my cards to get that ticket. But how am I going to pay for the debt later? I seriously need to get No Fax Payday Loans to solve things out as it’s impossible for me to come out with the money anymore after I have empty my bank account for those tickets. LOL! But seriously, if you take the loans, it’s easy to get the money in a short period of time, but don’t you forget that you will still have to pay for it.
Thus, I think A380 is only a dream to me. I can’t just jeopardize my financial status for a flight experience, even if I’m drooling over it.
