I love this shot. It shows the blue of the pool, the sea and the sky.

It’s a nice stay at Chom View Hotel, but I won’t stay here again on my future trips to Hua Hin. There are a lot of hotels and villas in Hua Hin, so I want to check them out too.

We arrived in the afternoon, and checked into the hotel in group. I found that this place is quite colorful, and it’s pleasant.

I didn’t go for a dip in the pool for the 3 days stay. Maybe I was too eager to go to the beach in bikini instead. LOL! I don’t have nice body ok? But I feel that bikini is best for the beach! So does lipozene work? Maybe I need some.

We had free breakfast here, but the food is quite limited. Gee…it’s not a five star hotel, so what can I expect?

So, since we hatred the crowded Baen Saen beach, we decided to drop by Pattaya. What then, being one of the famous tourist spots in Thailand, Pattaya was very crowded too on the first day of 2010. We couldn’t get a room, and the traffic was congested. Thus, we went to Jomtien beach, which is not too far away from Pattaya.

We had luck on our side this time. After a quick dinner, we managed to find a hotel with 2 rooms. And it’s at Nusa Playa Hotel and Spa.

I haven’t noticed this hotel all the while, maybe I’ve missed it.

The price was reasonable and SIL got a discount with her credit card.

The only thing I don’t like about the hotel is the balcony. It’s quite dangerous for little kids, and it’s still under renovation for some part of the hotel. They didn’t block the restricted area well and my kid almost walked towards to open area of 28 floor! Gosh, mesothelioma won’t give me a fright at that time comparing to my kids’ safety.

But the room is good enough for a night. We didn’t have anything to complain about it. Breakfast was great too, considering that it’s not a 5-star hotel.

Best of all, even if this hotel has a lot of oversea tourists, but they check out very early in the morning. So, the pool was quite empty. LOL!

My kids had great fun in the pool and that’s truly enjoyable.

We were given a complementary birthday cake, and I was happy about it. On top of that, we love the pool too.

Too bad it was too windy and cold for a nice swim, so after dipping in the water for awhile, my kids played in the sand area instead.

Just grab a nice book and you can spend the whole afternoon here.

Hopefully, we will go for another stay again at Hilton Bangkok.

I’ve just known a friend who’s been to Lebua lately and I’m so attracted to this 5-star hotel now. It’s Lebua, which is located at the State Tower of Bangkok and it has Bvlgari amenities!!! Bvlgari! Do you hear me?

By just looking at the photos already make me drooling for spending a night there. I would trade the money meant for rv insurance for a stay at Lebua. Of course, we don’t have an RV, so we don’t need the insurance. LOL!

The famous Sirocco Restaurant is situated at the Dome, but my friend told me that kids are not allowed. So, if we are going to stay there, I might not be able to dine in style at Sirocco. Sigh…

Le Méridien Bangkok reaches 24 storeys into the City of Angel’s skyline, towering in contemporary five-star luxury at the head of the pulsating Silom commercial district and just metres from the energetic Patpong Night Market.

I’m equally happy as Le Meridien has always been a nice hotel. Ah…I would love to book my reservation at Le Meridien Bali next time, if we are going to Bali again.

Too bad I’m out of budget to buy something nice for myself for my birthday trip. If not, I would love to go there in my finest dress and Contemporary Jewelry. But anyway, I know that we will all have a good time at Le Meridien, with or without a nice piece of dress. It’s family moments that count!

But then, it’s still nice to make a trip to Baiyoke Sky Hotel and see how it looks like. Besides that, there are a lot of stalls nearby, and it’s great for shopping. The things are pretty cheap, but they sell mostly clothes. If you are looking for Bluetooth headset here, I’m not sure if you can find one, but maybe you can walk further down the streets with more shops and stores.

Our friends stayed here yesterday and we paid them a visit. I like the view from the hotel, you can see more from the viewing deck.

Hubby caught his eyes on the small driving range. Frankly, it’s really SMALL!

I think we will come here again, with our kids next time to try out the buffet. The view of Bangkok city is too hard to be missed.

Let’s see how I classified a hotel room as lousy:

1. You can see cockroaches running around. My friend just had this experience last weekend at Hotel Sri Petaling.
2. The toilet flush is not working properly.
3. The bottom of the tub is dirty. Oh ya, I can name a few hotels!
4. The air-conditioning controller is not working well. You can really freeze to death spending a night in the room, if you don’t have thicker sheets and blanket!
5. I hate those leather office chairs that make squeeky sound when you sit on them. Too spooky at night.
6. A noisy hotel where you can hear everything from the next room. Let’s see…First World Genting Hotel?
7. Smelly room. Yeap, smelly.
8. Don’t ever push the beds away, like trying to join 2 single beds together. Sometimes, you will be surprised with the rubbish or dirt found underneath the beds!
9. Any rooms with lights that keep flashing or not working well.
10. The last but not least, a room without “something else” in it. I had a bad experience in Cameron Highlands where one of the drawers opened by itself. Don’t ask where’s the place. I don’t want to remember its name.

It’s school holiday next week, so we may bring the kids to KL for a few days. We won’t be looking for any Cheap Hotels in Kuala Lumpur but only stay at hubby’s apartment. I don’t that the kids don’t like that place, but if daddy has no intention to pay for the hotels, they will have to get used to the small apartment then.

Frankly, I wanted to bring my kids to Singapore because they haven’t been there. I think we should spend a few days shopping and sightseeing in Singapore, and my kids will definitely love the Siloso Beach in Sentosa Island.

So, maybe I should check out the rate of Cheap Hotels in Singapore too? I wonder if we will have time for the trip now? This school holiday is kind of short though. But then again, we can arrange a trip next time, but we will need to fly to Singapore from Bangkok!

But anyway, you don’t have to paint the room in pink and spend so much on Barbie dolls if you just want to put a smile on a little girl now. Just drop by the Barbie Room at Sheraton Subang Hotel and Towers and most girls will be thrilled to spend a night there, with the company of other girls or you. The rooms are not going to be there forever, and they are only available until the end of February. So you better hurry up!

So, does the room equipped with air purifiers? Too bad my gal is too young for this, and hopefully, the Barbie rooms will be available a few years later. By then, she’s old enough to enjoy playing with them.
