When I was single, I have always looking toward to February especially Valentine’s Day. Believe it or not, I have never had a great Valentine’s celebration. None of the guys did the effort of booking the tables, and I hatred the queue and waiting, and the meals suck!

But of course, I still had the flowers and gifts, until I’ve got married. Then, Valentine’s Day is just like any other day. So so sad.

That’s why I don’t buy anything for hubby. Better save the money than getting him citizen watches!

Surgery

I am a long distance runner and I recently fell and injured my knee pretty badly. I had surgery on my knee and was out of work for about six weeks. I really could not do anything other than lay in bed or on the couch. Therefore, I watched a lot of tv. I was so glad that we have directv and that I can watch more than just the regular shows. We get so many movie channels and we can watch so many shows on demand. We both did not realize that we had so many good channels to watch. I really thought I was going to get bored while I was on bedrest, but I did not. My husband was actually letting me watch all of the chick flicks and Lifetime movies I wanted. I guess he knew that I would pull the “I had surgery card” if he did let me watch whatever I wanted. I wish I had been clever enough to think of some other stuff I could get away with simply by winning some sympathy votes from my husband.

Yo Yo

I try not to buy a lot of expensive toys for my kids. They will have to wait for special days to get expensive toys, so on normal days, I won’t mind buying them cheap toys, or just something to occupy their time.

Lately, they are into yo yo. My boy picks up faster but my gal is still struggling with it. Maybe it’s because she’s too short to play one. LOL!

It’s fun to play yo yo all over again after so long. I used to be quite good.

Year 2012

It’s a brand new year but I haven’t set my new year’s resolution. Partly it’s because I don’t think I can achieve much. But I am really working hard on my biz, and hopefully it will grow more and be stable this year.

It’s too early to plan for any holiday too, considering that we have just spent so much for the condo. I can’t even imagine myself going for a backpacking tour with scorpion helmets and motorbike with hubby! With 2 young kids, there is no way to have a budget trip!

Let me work out the biz, then the money, and then the trips for year 2012!

Not ready

My condo is still pretty much in a mess, even if we try to clean it as much as possible. Renovation continues today, and hopefully, they will let most parts of the condo be completed in 2 weeks! I need to get some cable cover later once the wiring is completed.

Washing machine is coming in tomorrow, so at least laundry can be done. Dirty clothes are piling up and kids start school soon! Oh boy…

Christmas

This Christmas is going to be very boring again. I can’t even set up the tree as the condo is not ready at all! I’ve bought the Christmas presents for the kids and that’s all I’ve done. Maybe I should get some Shari’s Berries chocolate gifts for some friends but I am too busy and lazy to do so.

Maybe we will have a proper Christmas celebration next year.

Tight

I really hate those customers who don’t pay on time, which makes me pretty tight in my cash flow. So I will have to delay my payment to my suppliers or creditors then. The circle goes around!

After the flood, everyone seems to be pretty tight in cash, except for those rich people. They will never be affected by anything, unless their health fails them but they can easily afford the best medication. medical cart, and most effective treatments.

So, it’s going to be a very hard time for us! I just can’t wait for things to pick up again and go smooth onwards!

Broke

I’m broke, I’m really broke! Cash is flowing out faster than water now!

We can’t probably celebrate much this festive season and will have to work on rebuilding our financial situation. Seeing the bills of our renovation and my company is such a scary sight! I must be frugal this month, and use free downloader to watch movies instead of going to the cinema.

Aiyo, it sucks to be broke.

Loss and Gain

I’m supposed to fly to Osaka in February but the trip is postponed due to $$$ disrupted by the flood. Sales are pretty bad these 3 months, customers can’t pay and we are suffering from cash flow again. What to do? Forget about oversea training trip loh!

I won’t be getting the kids a wii motionplus nor any expensive gadgets for Christmas this year. We need some time to recover from the loss of the flood.

But then again, we should be able to move into our new condo next month, hopefully I will be in time to set up our Christmas tree!

Frugal!

Should I get one of those olympus cameras for my boy now? He’s been asking for a camera but I feel that it’s too early for him to owe one. Maybe a few years later, I will get him a camera. He used to have all my digital cameras, which are all spoiled now. LOL!

Actually, we should spend the money wisely now so I don’t be getting him any expensive gifts.
